THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson will return for its 5th year at McKinney’s TPC Craig Ranch on May 1-4, 2025. The four-day televised event is part of a five-year agreement with the PGA that brings thousands of visitors, economic opportunities, and international attention to the City of McKinney.
Canadian golfer Taylor Pendrith (shown here) was 2024's CJ CUP Byron Nelson winner, securing the top prize of $1.71 million and the coveted, handcrafted trophy.
Past Byron winners Jason Day (2023) and K.H. Lee (2021 & 2022) both returned to compete for the trophy and part of the $9.5 million winner's purse ($1.71 million winner’s share each). Dallas's own Jordon Spieth, the 2022 runner-up, also competed but was out after Day 2.
