McKinney’s nightlife is spread across the city, with the bulk of it in the historic downtown square. Two "coolness factor" night-time spots to check out include Arcade 92, a vintage arcade featuring original game consoles dating from the late 1970s to the e-sports gaming of today. No quarters are required either; pay one admission and play the rest of the day! And catch a comedy show on the roof of The Comedy Arena; shows will move indoors as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Not only does the rooftop show location provide lots of room to spread out, but it also gives guests a great view of the new neon sign welcoming visitors to downtown, the iconic old lighted water tower, and a beautiful view of the east side of the downtown area.
