    We work hard to re-create the feel of bygone market days held in the old Jockey lot in downtown McKinney. Meet friends, share local news and bring a chair and sit a while! Most every Saturday there’s a special tour, event, music or demonstration. Local and organic meat, dairy, honey and produce vendors offer their wares every Saturday at Chestnut Square near downtown McKinney. Market vendors also offer baked goods, artisan & specialty foods, wine, plants & flowers, craft items and more! *Please note: market hours may vary according to season and special events.   2. Market at East End

    July 20, 2019, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Be one of the first to shop from an assortment of antique goods, household artifacts and architectural salvage that has been freshly unloaded from a European container collected on travels to the UK earlier this year. A select group of retailers and artisans will be offering their collections of european antiques, vintage pieces, curiosities, luxury letterpress, silk screens, and potted plants. Particulars of Sale will be provided by Kaci Lyford with Patina Green Home and Market, Steve Wiman & Daniel Schmidt with Uncommon Objects (located in Austin), Jason McDaniel with Missing Q Press (Dallas), Kristen Barstad with The Screenery and Becca Masters with Mish Mash (both McKinney) Pamela Thibodeaux aka Deaux Baker will be hosting a pop-up Bake Shop that opens at 9am until it she sells out. Come early for fresh baked pastries! Saturday, July 20 at 9am - Admission is free and open to the general public.

  3. Third Saturday Nature Talks

    These programs are held on the third Saturday of each month and cover a variety of subjects. Third Saturday Nature Talks are open to the public and are free with paid general admission or Heard Museum Membership. Many of these programs will have an outside component. Please dress appropriately. These talks begin at 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise listed. Check Heard website for monthly topic.
