  1. Dinosaurs Live! Life-Size Animatronic Dinosaurs

    August 31, 2019, 9:00 AM - February 17, 2020, 5:00 PM @ Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

    Let your imagination run wild as you travel back in time along a half-mile nature trail with ten life-size animatronic dinosaurs. During the 14th Annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-Size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit, these animatronic dinosaurs will move and roar, providing an experience sure to captivate visitors. This exhibit will also offer interesting facts about both herbivorous and carnivorous dinosaurs. Children and the young at heart will also have the opportunity to play on stationary baby dinosaurs, a photo-op Tyrannosaurus rex and a photo op Pachyrhinosaurus. This year’s exhibit will also a feature an outdoor hadrosaur fossil dig to inspire future paleontologists. The Dinosaurs Live! exhibit trail is jogging-stroller friendly (umbrella strollers are not recommended), giving families and friends a unique, exciting and educational activity to experience together.

  3. Nature Story Time

    October 11, 2019, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

    Nature Story Times are designed primarily for young children and will introduce a different nature-themed book each week. During most of the story times, a puppet, live animal or enrichment items will be included to enhance the experience. These programs should last approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the book covered.

    "The 3 Redneck Tenors" -- a musical comedy trio, back by popular demand with their new "Broadway Bound" greatest hits. Classically trained opera stars became famous as top finalists with "America's Got Talent," delighting audiences with down-home laughs and big-city music. Available for photos and signing CD's after the show.

  6. Texas Flood and the Maylee Thomas Band Live at the Sanctuary

    The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present a special double bill with Tommy Katona and Texas Flood and the Maylee Thomas Band Friday October 11th at 8pm (doors open at 7) at The Sanctuary Music & Events Center VIP Tables with seating for 4 directly in front of the stage are $150 per table (SEE Seating Chart). Downstairs Seats (First come, First Serve) are $25. General Admission (Standing Room Only on the upstairs balcony) Tickets are just $10.
