  1. Dinosaurs Live! at The Heard

    September 1, 2018 - February 18, 2019 @ Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

    Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary’s nature trails at the 13th annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit. The exhibit always gives families and friends a fun, educational activity to enjoy together. See the dinosaurs move and hear them roar! Photo op and play area dinosaurs will be available as well. This year, the exhibit also features an outdoor fossil dig. The dinosaur trail is jogging stroller friendly (it is not suitable for strollers with small wheels or wheelchairs).

  2. Texas & Collin County WWI Centennial Commemoration

    During 2018, the U.S. and Texas will observe the 100th anniversary of America's entry into WWI. In observance of the centennial commemoration the Collin County History Museum invites you to our exhibit honoring the role that Texas and Collin County soldiers and women played in the Great War. Interesting facts and details await you. CCHM is the only Museum in North Texas extensively covering this anniversary. HOURS: Thur - Sat, 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission: FREE

  3. Hollywood Feed Hosts Cat Adoption with North Texas Cat Rescue

    The Hollywood Feed store in McKinney just north of Eldorado Parkway will host cat adoptions with North Texas Cat Rescue on the first Saturday of each month from noon to 3 p.m. The store is located at 2851 Craig Drive, Suite 200D in McKinney, Texas. North Texas Cat-Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit cat rescue organization based in McKinney.
