  1. Dinosaurs Live! at The Heard

    September 1, 2018 - February 18, 2019 @ Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary

    Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary’s nature trails at the 13th annual Dinosaurs Live! Life-size Animatronic Dinosaurs exhibit. The exhibit always gives families and friends a fun, educational activity to enjoy together. See the dinosaurs move and hear them roar! Photo op and play area dinosaurs will be available as well. This year, the exhibit also features an outdoor fossil dig. The dinosaur trail is jogging stroller friendly (it is not suitable for strollers with small wheels or wheelchairs).

  4. Learn How to Bake French Macarons

    October 20, 2018, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Savor Patisserie McKinney Square

    Learn to bake French macarons like a pro in one of our 2-hour hands-on baking classes. During class, you will work in a small group to make a batch of French macarons. Each person will take home a gift box of macarons that they made, a recipe card and a Savor tote bag as well as the tips and tricks shared in class for perfecting macaron baking at home.

  6. Tucker Hill Fall Concert-on-the-Lawn

    October 20, 2018, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ Tucker Hill New Home Community

    The new home community of Tucker Hill in McKinney invites the public to join residents on Saturday, October 20, for a free Concert-on-the-Lawn featuring Six of the Matter. This popular Dallas-area cover band plays everything from Country and Classic Rock, to Current Hits. The concert goes from 5 pm until sunset on the grassy lawn known as the community’s Lawn Chair Amphitheatre, near the intersection of State and Percy. Bring your own refreshments along with lawn chairs or blankets. Or, plan to purchase drinks and gourmet sliders from Arete’s Gourmet Sliders Food Truck! Guests might also visit one of Tucker Hill’s newest restaurants (pending their grand openings) that are just a short walk from our concert area – Palio’s Pizza and Petra Fresh Mexican Bistro.     Experience Collin County’s premier family-friendly Halloween event! Halloween at the Heard features a safe environment to experience the joy of trick-or-treating along the eerie Dinosaurs Live, a Life-Size Animatronic Dinosaurs trail! Families will enjoy an evening full of fun activities including a presentation of a movie on the Heard's outdoor amphitheater stage, a costume contest, and more. Tickets sell out each year before the event. Tickets open to the public beginning 9/28/18.

  8. The Alex Skolnick Trio Live at the Sanctuary

    The Guitar Sanctuary is proud to present The Alex Skolnick Trio with special guests The Adam Nanez Band at The Sanctuary Music & Events on Saturday October 20th at 8pm (doors open at 7pm). VIP Tables with seating for 4 directly in front of the stage are $125 per table. Downstairs Seats are $20 General Admission Tickets on the Balcony (Standing Room Only) are $10.
