Exhibit - POPPIES, A Symbol of Remembrance

Tuesday, September 19, 2017

If you've ever been to the Red Poppy Festival in Georgetown, Texas, you'll know the vibrancy of bright red poppies and their symbol of remembrance. From September 19 through September 30th, the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts (McKinney's oldest art museum) will showcase poppy paintings, porcelain works, and current McKinney Artists' whimsical works (for sale to the public) featuring poppies. Remember a loved one with a gift of poppy art. Open during the day between 9:00 - 3:00 PM and on Saturday mornings from 8:00 - noon. At 205 W. Hunt. Tickets are available online.
