McKinney's AAC Offers Athletic Training & Meeting Space
Posted on August 7, 2017 at 5:02 PM by Beth Shumate
Young athletes interested in volleyball have a new place to train in McKinney - Arete' Athletic Center. And when not using the gym for athletic training,
the folks at Arete' are offering
companies and organizations space for meetings (by reservation only).
Arete's youth volleyball programs are in demand among young athletes, growing from nine teams their inaugural season (2015-16) to more than 24 teams in the soon-to-get-underway third season. Located in a large facility at 1720 Bray Central Drive, Suite 200, Arete' offers USA Junior Volleyball girls team play to age divisions from U9 to U18 which includes practice, training and competition for play in JNC qualifying and championship events.
The Arete' coaches have been busy this summer, working with girls and boys in skills clinics and now, with a new season getting ready to start, they will soon begin hosting preparatory camps. This activity keeps the gym bustling in the evenings and on weekdays, but during weekdays, it is often not being used.
Having weekdays free allows Arete' to rent its space to corporations and associations to host events and meetings during weekdays. Getting the space reserved is something with which the staff at the McKinney Convention & Visitors Bureau can assist you! Contact Dee-dee Guerra, MCVB executive director, at 888-649-8499 for more information!
